    Fraternity Semester Grades Announced:

     

    Semester Grades for each Greek chapter were announced for the Spring 2011 Semester, and once again, Lambda Chi demonstrated their academic prowess and dedication with an overall GPA of 3.036. This placed the chapter above the all university, all fraternity, and all male GPA averages. Lambda Chi will receive an MU Academic Achievement banner to hang on the chapter house for its achievement.

    Brothers Selected for Prestigious Internships:

     

     

    Senior Ben Carrier will be in New York City this summer as an returning intern at financial services firm Goldman Sachs. 

     

    Junior Alex Berry is spending the summer interning at the United States Department of Justice in his hometown of Dallas, TX.  

     

    Senior Kevin Heffernan is a credit intern in the finance department of Bunge North America, an agri-business firm in St. Louis, MO.

     

    Senior Cameron Johnson will be in Kansas City, MO this summer as an intern in the financial offices of Sears Corporation.

     

    Senior Kevin Holle is spending the Fall 2010 Semester in Brussels, Belgium, interning as a media management specialist with the European Union.

    Sports Update:

     

    Lambda Chi came in 1st place out of the 27 fraternities competing in the Rec League Sports of football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball this year with a total of 780 points. Because of this high-ranking finish, Lambda Chi will continue to play at the top level of Greek Sports, Division 1, which is an elite grouping of the top six athletic fraternities at MU. Intramurals Chairman Kevin Heffernan stated, "We should be able to keep the number 1 spot and compete for 1st place next year, its just going to take a real effort from all of our teams. So good job this year and keep it up!"

    Lambda Chi Dominates Greek Honors Night:

     

    Greek Honors Night, a program administered by MU Greek Life, is held each year at the end of the second semester to honor individuals and overall chapters who have excelled in their commitment to the core values of brotherhood, leadership, scholarship, and service. The Mizzou chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha won the Service & Philanthropy Cup, the Youngblood Award, and was runner-up for the Innovative Greek Programming Cup. Individual awards included those to Jean Autry, our esteemed housemother, who won House Director of the Year, and senior John Bowen, who won the Nathan L. Shore Scholarship Award for his scholastic excellence and dedication to service.

    Greek Week Results Announced:

     

    The men of Lambda Chi Alpha paired with the women of Alpha Delta Pi are proud to announce our most successful Greek Week since our recharter. Gamma-Kappa took 1st place in Special Events, 2nd place in Service, 3rd place in sports, 3rd place in fling and 1st place overall (out of 14 pairings) in Greek Week 2011.
